Mission Statement for Special Events for Pastor & Sister Joy:
To enable the family of
God to enter in to worship of our Lord Jesus Christ, thereby giving them the
opportunity to be
obedient to his word, by being a blessing to the man and woman to whom God has
called and imparted vision for this local body.
We are looking for individuals who would like to be apart of this awesome team.
Special Events is a
ministry that would need your participation four to five times a year with
a fellowship once a year. The
Special Events Coordinator is Sherri Farris.
The Special Events Fellowship Team leaders are Leslie Myers and Bernice Bass.
This ministry is open to both men and women.
If you would like to be apart of the ministry to honor our wonderful

Upcoming Events
We will celebrate Sister Joy's birthday on Nov 16th and we will
receive a special Christmas offering on December 14th. Please pray about what
the Lord would have you give toward this Special Love Offering.

the Pastor’s family. This includes their birthday’s, anniversary, Pastor Appreciation,
and Christmas. We are blessed to have Pastor and Sister Joy for our Pastors. Their
heart is to reach the lost and to teach us to be disciples of Christ. They do so much,
and these are our opportunities to bless them. This ministry is truly a ministry of helps. These events involve every age group in the Harvest Family. We incorporate music,
drama, and media technologies, along with fellowship workers. For fellowships we need decorators, set up teams, servers, and don’t forget clean up crews. You may not feel
that you have a special talent for other ministries…well that is not the case with Special
Events. All that is required is a servant’s heart and willingness to work. I am currently
restructuring some of these teams, if you are interested in being a part of this wonderful

member of this family involved in some aspect of blessing the Pastor’s Family.
