Way to go Josh!!

Ranger of the Year (ROTY) is an annual event conducted at the Outpost and Sectional levels for Ranger Kids (Kindergarten through 2nd Grade) and also at District and Region levels for rangers in the higher age group.

The merits earned by the Ranger in several categories such as Mental Growth, Physical Growth, Social Growth, and Spiritual Growth are added up to determine the eligibility.

To be eligible to take the Outpost ROTY test, the ranger kid should have earned 250 points.

To be eligible to take the Sectional ROTY test, the ranger kid should have earned 350 points.

Josh had earned 30 merits while in the Ranger Kids program last year and had a total of 541 points.

The ranger should score 60% or above to pass the test and to earn the award.

Joshua scored 590 out of 600. Apart from earning the Outpost and Sectional ROTY awards, he also earned the Outstanding Sectional ROTY award for his exceptional performance in the ROTY test.

Congratulations Joshua!
