Nursery

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb
..Psalm 139:13

At Harvest Assembly of God, we understand the importance of knowing that your child is being loved and cared for while you are in service. Peace of mind is what we offer to all parents leaving their little angels in our care.

Nursery Hours

Sunday School and both AM Services - 9:00am & 11:00am
Sunday PM Service - 6:00pm
Wednesday PM Service - 7:00pm

Nursing Room - Our quiet nursing room is ready for mothers to have the privacy they need to nurse and it is close by the Infant Nursery.
Infant Nursery - For Newborns until they begin to walk.  We provide special care for your "little ones", while you enjoy Sunday School and church service.
Walker Nursery - For little ones starting to walk thru 2 years

What to expect on your first visit:

On your first visit, please pack in your child's bag with extra diapers, a change of clothing, wipes, comfort items (pacifier, blanket etc.) and a bottle or sippy cup. Be sure to put a label on your child's items.
Be prepared to fill out an information sheet on your child.

Once your child starts walking, they will be moved into the walker nursery.  Snacks are provided and consist of animal crackers, cheerios etc.  Please notify staff of any allergies your child may have.

Wellness Policy
The Harvest Nursery Ministry staff asks that all children be checked at home by their parents to see that they are well. Some of the conditions that parents should check for include:

  • Fever
  • Vomiting or Diarrhea
  • Any symptom of childhood diseases
  • Common cold (from onset through one week)
  • Croup
  • Any unexplained rash
  • Any skin infection
  • Pink Eye
  • Green runny nose
  • Any communicable disease

If the nursery volunteer notices any of the above symptoms in a child the parent will be notified.

Nursery staff is not allowed to give any medication to a child.

Security
We believe that a safe environment is absolutely necessary in our Nursery Ministry. We provide a secure environment with procedures in place to ensure the security and safety of every child in our care. Each child will be assigned a number and the parent will be given a tag with the same number.  The parent must present their assigned number tag that matches their child’s number to pick up their child. Should the nursery staff need you, your child's number will appear on the LCD screens on both sides of the sanctuary and you will know that you are needed immediately.

All volunteers are carefully screened with fingerprint & background check.
